Most allergen raw materials are sourced from internationally certified suppliers. In addition, Excelsior Bio-System Incorporation independently extracts allergen proteins from natural food sources. Each batch undergoes species identification testing to verify the accuracy of its origin and biological classification.

Raw Material Stability Verification

Each batch of purified allergen protein material undergoes protein quantification and protein composition analysis to verify batch-to-batch consistency.
Through a series of analytical evaluations, concentration stability and protein composition consistency can be confirmed, providing a reliable foundation for downstream diagnostic applications.

Allergen Activity Validation

Excelsior Bio-System Incorporation maintains a reference serum bank and associated indexing system that support the validation of allergen activity.

Using reference serum samples, positive allergen targets can be evaluated to confirm that purified allergen protein fractions consistently demonstrate stable and functional biological activity suitable for diagnostic applications.

Microarray Substrate Evaluation and Application

Microarray technology is a high-throughput diagnostic platform that immobilizes multiple purified allergen molecules onto a glass slide, enabling the simultaneous detection of multiple allergen-specific IgE or IgG antibodies from a small volume of serum.

This approach supports the identification of different sensitization patterns and provides valuable information for allergen analysis.

Because substrate selection significantly influences assay sensitivity and stability, Excelsior Bio-System Incorporation integrates substrate characteristics with diagnostic requirements during platform development.

Various slide conditions are evaluated according to the properties of different proteins, including highly hydrophilic surfaces, low-background substrates, and specialized functional coatings.
