Lateral Flow- E2 Ab

The Rapid Test is conducted using E2 protein antibodies as the target. E2 protein is the primary immunogenic protein of the classical swine fever virus (CSFV). In CSFV diagnosis, E2 protein can be utilized for detecting infection-related antibodies or evaluating vaccine-induced protection, depending on the application. In non-vaccinated or non-epidemic areas, the presence of E2 protein antibodies in serum can serve as an indicator of CSFV infection. Meanwhile, in pig farms using the E2 subunit vaccine, it can be used to assess the protective antibody titer.
